Other topics

1. Check when the device last reported

Select the kiosk in Devices. Read its last contact and current hardware observations alongside the saved configuration. A previous successful test is historical evidence; it is not a live guarantee that the terminal and printer are connected now.

2. Read content synchronization correctly

Published identifies the desired version. Downloaded means the device has stored the change; Applied means it made the version active. A customer session can legitimately leave a downloaded update waiting. Offline, failed and not-yet-reported states need their own follow-up.

3. Use read-only checks first

Use Technician Mode to Check now, inspect diagnostics or refresh configuration. Routine health checks pause around protected payment/printing work. A reconnection check does not initiate a purchase or retry a customer payment.

4. Install the correct application update

App updates are separate from menu publications. Play installations use the Play update flow; supported direct installs use a configured signed APK. An authorized technician begins installation when the kiosk is safe to update. After reopening, verify version, pairing, content and devices.
