Other topics

Reconcile the shift

Open Shift and review the recorded sales, payments and cash movements. Count physical cash and enter the actual count. Investigate differences instead of changing the count to match an expectation.

Close shift

Close shift ends that cashier shift and can print its non-fiscal summary. It does not by itself mean that a fiscal daily report has been printed. A cashier handover is also a separate operational action.

End day

When the business needs to finish the fiscal day, use the highlighted End day action and follow its fiscal-printer instructions. Keep the fiscal printer connected and check the report outcome.

If printing is interrupted

Review the existing operation and the printer’s report before retrying. An uncertain operation should not be repeated automatically. Resolve any outstanding report with the recorded evidence and device diagnostics.
