1. Assign work to the right people
Open Task Management and create or review the relevant task. Set the responsible users and shop context using the available controls. Make the requested outcome and any deadline explicit so staff know what completion means.
2. Follow status rather than assuming completion
Review the task dashboard, full task list and My Tasks. Employees and managers use the mobile task area where their access permits. A saved task or notification is not evidence that the work was physically completed; inspect the recorded status and follow up.
3. Record equipment and assignments
Use Assets to maintain the equipment record and Assignments to inspect responsibility or allocation. Keep the item’s identity, location and assigned person consistent when equipment moves between shops.
4. Keep access and records scoped
Check the active shop and user permissions before reviewing another location’s tasks or equipment. Use the original record for changes rather than creating a duplicate asset or task merely because the selected shop was wrong.
Available features depend on your shop configuration, permissions and supported devices.
